Permatech Concrete Solutions
Our story

Water always finds the weakest point. We make sure it does not.

Every basement, water tank and underground structure in Mumbai is fighting the same battle: water pressing in from the soil, rain seeping through cracks, and salts and groundwater working on the concrete year after year. Permatech has been working on that problem since 1986.

Why leaks happen

Most leaks start at the joints, not in the middle of the wall.

Construction joints, pipe penetrations and the edges where walls meet slabs are where water finds its way in. A surface membrane can be punctured during backfilling, and a crack that opens later can leak for years before anyone sees it. That is why we look at the structure first, and only then choose the system.

What we do

One team specifies, supplies and applies.

We survey the site, review the drawings, soil report and water-table level, or inspect the existing leak. We recommend a system, supply the materials and support the work on site. The same people who recommend the system are responsible for how it performs, so nothing gets passed from one contractor to another.

We also test. Where a structure needs it, we run water-tightness or ponding tests before handover and back the work with a written guarantee.

The technology

Tested European chemistry, brought to India.

We represent European manufacturers in India, including IPA Bauchemische Produkte in Germany for IPANEX crystalline admixtures, Webac for injection grouting, and RiveStop for formwork tie-rod sealing. Each system is chosen for a specific job, not sold as a general solution.

Our product claims are backed by independent laboratory testing. Where a result applies only to the tested conditions, we say so.

Where we stand

Over 40 years, more than 500 projects.

Permatech has completed more than 500 projects across Mumbai and India. We are members of the Waterproofers Association of India and registered under Udyam. Our work is judged by whether the structure stays dry after the monsoon, not by how the brochure reads.
